China has stepped into the age of high-speed railway. The operating mileage of China's high-speed railway was more than 20,000 km by the end of September 2016.Although high-speed rail can offer people a convenient, fast and easy travel, and also promote economic development, but also it may make land use and cover of neighbourhood of railway change, and even cause ecological and environmental problems. Therefore, carrying out the research of LUCC has great significance, and there was little comprehensive research in the question.Thebuffer area with the radius of 10 km range along Yuli high-speed railway was choosed as the study area. The dataset of geographic information was built by remote sensing and geographic information technology based on Landsat TM/OLI image of 2009,2011 and 2016.The spatial and temporal characteristic of LUCC of the study area was systematically analyzed by land use degree analysis model, indices of landscape patterns and buffer analysis. To a certain degree, these analyses revealed the laws of LUCC of the study area.Choosing a district along Yuli high-speed railway as case area, the driving forces of LUCC were qualitatively analyzed.Research findings were obtained as below.(1)Building remote sensing image's interpretation symbols and classification model of decision treeInterpretation symbols of farmland, woodland, waterbody, construction land and unused land belong to study area were built referring to field investigation data and auxiliary materials. The decision tree classifier was constructed based on NDVI and representative ground objects' characteristics of reflective spectrum.Three years' class maps of land use/cover were produced by the decision tree model.Classifical maps' Kappa coefficients of year2009,2011 and 2016 are 0.9115?0.8840 ? 0.9117 respectively via accuracy test.So the three class maps could be used to analyse LUCC.(2)Analysis of temporal and spatial characteristics of LUCCTemporal and spatial characteristics of LUCC of area along Yuli high-speed railway were deeply studied through analyses of LUC composition,LUC transition matrix, land use dynamic degree, land use degree composite index on the three years' land use mapsof study area.Buffer zones along Yuli high-speed railway were built, and analysis of buffer zones' LUCC and landscape pattern of study area were made. The results of the research indicated thatcover of farmland continually decreased, and cover of woodland and construction land continually increased, proportion of farmland decreased by 10.07%,and woodland and construction land increased by 6.44% and 3.56,that there was time difference for land use degree, dynamic degrees of farmland, woodland and construction land were-2.57,0.47 and 25.59 in 2009-2011,but which were-2.91,3.01 and 3.62 in 2011-2016,that landscape of the study areaappeared diversification and evenness, number of patches, patch density, landscape crushness index, landscape diversity index and landscape evenness index increased, but landscape dominance index decreased, that on the whole, land use of buffer zones represented law of diminishing distance and of linear structure to box or band structure, the closer buffer zones to Yuli railway, the higher range of change, dynamic degree and comprehensive land ues degree index of farmland, woodland and construction land, and compared to 2009-2011,the polygonal line showing the relationship between change range, dynamic degree of farmland, woodland, construction land and buffer distance even closer to horizon position. These characteristics of LUCC in neighbourhood along Yuli high-speed railway,to some extent, revealed some geographical laws such as“distance decreasing effects”,“growth axis”,“effects of conglomeration and radiation”.(3)Analysis of driving force of the LUCC of the case study areaThe driving force of LUCC of Changshou District as the case study area has been qualitatively analyzed in the aspect of population,Eco-Tech and policy referring to Chongqing statistical yearbook.
