Analysis On Land Use/Land Cover Change And Driving Forces Of Loufan, Shanxi

Abstract/Summary:
This thesis selects Loufan County as the research region, Using the land use statistical datum during 1996-2004 in Loufan Homeland Resource Bureau and the digital maps of Loufan's land-use types in 1996 and 2004. On the bases of the other scholars' methods, integrated research idea from geography and ecology, adopted the multi-level analysis approach and landscape ecology quantity method, and studied on the land use/land cover and driving force of Loufan County. The main research contents and the conclusion are as following:(1)Using Weaver-Tomas' combination coefficient approach to analyze the land quantity structure combination; and Using Lorenz' curve direct-viewing analytic method and centralize index ways to analyses centralized degree, in order to describe current situation of LUCC in Loufan County. The results showed that the land quantity structure combination type was plow land-wood-unutilized land and different villages and towns manifested the different land quantity structure combination, and various villages and towns land use types mainly concentrated in the plow land-unutilized land-woodland in Loufan County.(2)Using SPSS10.0's mult-dimension scale and ArcView3.2's space analytic method analyzed the land types and the quantity space regional planning. The results showed that plow land, woodland, grassland and water areas were decreasing while unutilized land, industrial mining land and traffic and building land of town and county were increasing.(3)Based on the MapGIS6.0 and ArcView3.2, Using the ways of landscape pattern to analyze on the space pattern of land use /land cover in Loufan County, in order to reflect its structure combination and the space disposition character. The results showed that the areas of various landscape elements were extremely uneven, and their perimeters demonstrated the same regulation as well; the perimeters and area had extremely positive correlation. The border densities of the landscape elements were so great and showed that the fragmentation degree was big, connectedness was not good, and suffered human being activities infection was big; and the landscape diversity was decreasing. The patch fragmentation and separation shows positive correlation and were increasing.(4)Established the mathematics model from population and urbanization in order to analyses the driving forces. The results showed that the population and the urbanization were the major factors which droved the LUCC change of Loufan County. Population and urbanization were significant in the villages and towns of abundance natural resource and the ecological problems were quietly outstanding.(5) Analyzed the ecological service value and assets of land use. The results showed that ecological service value was decline and the ecological assets were increasingly decreasing in Loufan County, and manifested the land use was unreasonable, therefore carries on the land resource the reasonable disposition, regulates the contradictory between people and land are important in order to guarantees the land resource the sustainable development.
