Xinjiang is located in the northwest of China,adjacent to eight countries.It's the core of China's "New Silk Road" Economic Zone,and it's China's gateway opening to the outside world.At the same time,Xinjiang have many ethnic minorities,inhabited by 47 ethnic groups.the harmonious development of society and economy in Xinjiang is not only related to the smooth implementation of China's "The Belt and Road" strategy,but also related to the stability and unity of the boundary of our country and ethnic.So correctly understanding the income gap among different ethnic groups in Xinjiang and controlling it in the reasonable scope is very important for promoting China's unity,stability,strong and prosperousThe income gap between Han Chinese and National Minorities is a problem in Xinjiang that has existed for a long time and can't be ignored.At the same time,Xinjiang emerged some social friction due to it.In order to promote the unity and stability of all ethnic groups in Xinjiang and speed up the pace of building a moderately prosperous society of Xinjiang,this paper take the income of Han Chinese and National Minorities in Xinjiang rural as the research object,and tries to have a comprehensive understanding to the present situation and the influencing factor of the income gap between Han Chinese and National Minorities in Xinjiang rural through by the analysis of the data of “Comprehensive survey of rural economic and social development in Western China”,and then put forward a comprehensive countermeasure system to narrow the income gap between Han Chinese and National Minorities in Xinjiang rural.The results show that there exists a large income gap between Han Chinese and National Minorities in Xinjiang rural,and the annual per capita net income of National Minorities is only 53% of Han Chinese.At the same time,9.99% of the overall income inequality in Xinjiang rural is derived from the income inequality between Han Chinese and National Minorities.National Minorities have a lower average education level,a higher proportion of unemployment and less social capital,which is the main cause of the income gap between Han Chinese and National Minorities in Xinjiang rural.In order to reduce the income gap between Han Chinese and National Minorities in Xinjiang rural,the government needs to further develop the rural economy,improve the education of National Minorities,promote the employment of minorities population,and improve the government transfer payment system.
