With the advance in Chinese tourism industry, the consumer psychology of tourists began to be mature. Since tourists are no longer satisfied with cursory sightseeing,"experience-based tourism" begins to achieve more favor, while parent-child tourism market is also becoming a key part of the whole tourism market. Its developmental prospects are broad and with great potential. So how to implement experience-based tourism in product design of parent-child tourism for parent-child families' obtaining unique travel experience, has become the key issue in the development of parent-child tourism products. Based on the theory of experience-based tourism, this paper tries to combine the development and design of parent-child tourism products with experience, and analyzes the attitude, features and consumption behaviors of parent-child tourism market and find out the features, elements and development model of experience-based parent-child tourism products in a forward-looking perspective. By studding product development and marketing of experience-based parent-child tourism, the value in parent-child tourism is anticipated.The paper is divided into three parts: the first part is the basic background,including the first and the second chapters. It summarizes the progress of related research at home and abroad, introduces the background, research contents methods and technical route of the topic. And the relevant concepts and theoretical basis for the study are introduced to provide a sufficient theoretical basis. The second part elaborated the parent-child tourism market, including the contents from the third chapter to the fifth chapter. As the main body of the paper, it mainly elaborates from three aspects:First, it analyzes the status quo of tourism products market in Nanjing. By dividing the catalog of parent-child tourism products, it conducts an in-depth analysis of the parent-child tourism market development using SWOT analysis. Secondly, based on the questionnaire survey of Nanjing parent-child tourism products, a market analysis is made including market characteristics, consumer behavior. Thirdly, according to the parent-child tourism products in the market of Nanjing, the paper suggests models of parent-child tourism product design and parent-child tourism product marketing.The third part as the conclusion, includes the content of Chapter 6, and summarizes the main points and conclusions of the entire paper, then it points out the shortcomings of this study and the problems that need further study in the future.
