At present,China’s urbanization is developing rapidly, rural surplus labor force has gradually changed from agriculture to non-agricultural,traditional household contract responsibility system was adversely affected.Part-time farming emerged, and some farmland was even just lying unused there.Circulation of rural land and the transfer of land contracted management rights to those who need them most have already been an irresistible trend. After numerous attempts and practices,it was found that buying a share of the farmland share cooperatives by contracted land use rights constituted a much newer and more feasible way for the transferring, which not only alleviated the problems wherein, but also accelerated the emergence of new farmland share cooperatives. In recent years,Chinese agricultural issues were always the main focus of all the “No.1 Central Documents”.Especially in 2013 and 2015,it was particularly emphasized to encourage the circulation of farmland and the establishment of new farmers’ cooperation organizations. While Henan Province was normalizing the circulation,it was exploring and developing new models for farmland circulation;purchasing the share of the farmland share cooperatives was a typical circulation mode. And this thesis mainly analyzed the issues as: if farmers were willing to purchase the shares by their land management rights and what influenced their decisions etc.Starting from the farmers’ willingness to join he agricultural land share cooperatives, three hundred and eighteen validated questionnaires and some preliminary data were obtained after many times of field researches in places of Henan Province as well as questionnaire surveys of the farmers by random sampling. With basic theoretical knowledge of economics and sociology etc included, this thesis first statistically analyzed the preliminary data and then empirically analyzed the statistical data by the application of binary logistic regression models. The analysis showed the farmers’ willingness to join cooperatives was influenced by their gender, education level, how well they knew the cooperatives and national agricultural policies, how much land they had,as well as what their principal source of income for their families was.Based on the researches and analyses above, the conclusion was drawn, related policy suggestions were put forward, and the deficiencies of the thesis were also presented. |
