Work performance appraisal is closely related to the vital interests for employees,which plays an important role in improving profits of the company and also becomes a driving force to promote all employees to work diligently with positive attitudes.It is a way to achieve Three steps of Agricultural Bank of China(hereinafter referred as ABC)for its lateral promoting and the vertical developing strategic goals.In ABC,front-line personnel account for more than half number of the total bank employees,among which bank tellers are holding a considerable percentage.Hence it is important to manage the bank tellers with the optimum work performance appraisal system effectively and ignite their passions for work.This thesis takes XA Business Office of the ABC(hereinafter referred to as XA)in northwest China as the research object,and uses the method of integrating theory with practice based on a large amount of domestic and foreign references,to compare with the mainstream theories and methods by combining with the actual work of ABC,to deeply analyze the current work performance appraisal system and to identify the problems.It optimizes the weaknesses by proposing a new evaluation system.The full texts of the structure in this thesis are divided into six chapters.Chapter one is the preface,a brief introduction of this thesis including the researching background,the significance of the research,the methods to do the research and its innovations.Chapter two is the relevant theory and a comprehensive discourse for the research.By introducing the definition of performance,by analyzing and comparing the development for domestic and overseas' performance evaluation and the related theories,it draws out the theory framework of front-line personnel's work performance appraisal system for domestic financial institutions.Chapter three takes XA as the research objects to describe its basic and current situation of itself and its work performance appraisal system as well as the personnel structure.This chapter points out the existing problems and the reasons for the current system by an overall analysis to it.Chapter four brings out a fundamental solution aims in improving and optimizing the current work performance appraisal system for bank tellers of XA,which is also the key chapter for the article.According to the actual situation of XA,this chapter combines with the previous relevant theories to put forward innovative basic ideas for an optimal design.From the aspects of designing goals,principles,standards,rules,method and evaluation,etc.this article re-plans the construction of performance appraisal system for the network of the business offices,and puts forward the corresponded work flow and optimization suggestions.Chapter five is the implementation of safeguards,which gives detailed analyses respectively on earlier stage,middle stage and later stage.Chapter six draws an conclusion to the thesis.
