In recent years,due to the weak economic recovery in the world,China's economic growth slowed,China's steel,coal and other industries have appeared overcapacity,price declining and other unfavorable factors,so state-owned enterprise are facing fierce competition.In order to be able to stand out in the fierce market competition,state-owned enterprise managers has awarded of the importance of performance management gradually.Only making good use of the performance management tool,the staff's work potential and subjective initiative can be stimulated to the hilt.Enterprise and the staff will have a profit together.This paper chose L state-owned enterprise as the object of the paper.Analyzed the performance management methods of the enterprises,and then selected the KIP method to put forward optimization recommendations for L state-owned enterprise by combined with the theoretical achievements and methods both at home and abroad.In the study process,found some question in the L state-owned enterprise.Such as performance management and corporate strategy are not closely integrated,the performance appraisal is equal to performance management,performance indicators only concerned about the cost of ignoring costs,the lack of timely management of communication and feedback,lack of rigid execution.In order to solve and improve the performance management mechanism of L enterprises,the paper puts forward the principle of “Cost-based,supplemented by profits” and according to the idea of design optimization indicator.According to the financial class,management class,plus classification,vetting four indicators for the enterprise to develop performance management KPI proposed performance management results and corporate compensation,service evaluation,the total wage linked.After the establishment of performance management mechanism,assessment monthly,quarterly,yearly.Establishing the efficient feedback appeal mechanism,implement performance management timely.In order to ensure the successful establishment of performance management mechanism,there will be many difficulties that may be encounter in the management process,so put forward the safeguard measures: to improve the organization,create culture with the performance management in enterprise,establish a leadership reserve team.It is hope that the study of this paper will be of value and significance to the performance management of L state-owned enterprise,which will enrich the research and application of performance management theory in state-owned enterprise.
