The Study On Enterprise Population Evolution Path Based On Population Ecology Theory

Enterprise population is inevitable trend for the enterprise development, and it is also an important source for a country to maintain its leading position in international competition. In recent years, the number of enterprise population has a significant increase.During enterprise population’s early years, it can create more favorable conditions for enterprises to survive, attracting a large number of homogeneous companies to join in rapidly. With the rapid expansion of the number of enterprises populations and the increasing absorb of resources, scarce resources led to the limited carrying capacity of the environment, environment choose the fittest excellent enterprise for the populations. To make sure enterprise can survive in the population, it must go through the evolution process of Variation-Select-Remain. In the survival of the fittest competition law, enterprises in the populations must dig the feasible evolutionary path, insight into the deep black box behind the evolution path, to promote enterprises in evolution population orderly and healthily.Firstly, on the basis of carding domestic and foreign research, this paper elaborates the research category of population ecology theory and analyzes different evolution process of the enterprise populations in the population ecological theory prospectively, leading the Variation-Select-Remain dominant evolutionary paradigm in the population ecology theory to analogy metaphor for the evolutionary path of Resources Endowment Advantage-Competitive Advantage-Resource Endowment Accumulation, and establishes the enterprise populations evolutionary process model.Afterwards, this paper defines the concept of critical quality attributes in specific sub paths which are formed from enterprise evolution, making a systematic interpretation of the thread chains between those critical quality attributes, proposing a serious of theoretical assumptions among the components and organizational legitimacy, the interaction relationship between updated organizational routines and the causal relationship between network. Refining enterprise population evolution paths and constructing the concept model of enterprise population evolution path.This paper based on designing critical quality attributes variable tables in the enterprise population evolution paths of resource gift advantage-competitive advantage-resource endowment, establishing a Structural Equation Model of enterprise population evolution path to validate the concept model. This paper based on conducting a survey for manufacturing industry in northeast of china and jiang su, zhe jing, and shang hai, collecting empirical data, using the software of SPSS 17.0 and Amos7.0 to have Exploratory Factor Analysis and Confirmatory Factor Analysis, using Structural Equation Model to test goodness of fit and path coefficient, validating the concept model, summarizing the evolution paths.In the end, this paper it proposes several security measures to guarantee the enterprise population evolution path put into effect successfully in the three part of pass-through variable, accumulating core resource and grasping evolution paths reasonably.
