Analysis On The Effect Of Ecological Compensation On The Poverty Reduction Of Farmers In Shiyang River

Poverty as a global problem that plagues the development of the world.It is also one of the most serious challenges faced by all countries.It is even more the common goal and task faced by all countries in the world today.Around the crack down the deep-seated contradictions and problems in China's poverty alleviation and development,It is a major theoretical innovation of poverty alleviation and development in China,which is formed to precision poverty as the core of poverty alleviation and development of important strategic thinking,The work of poverty alleviation,directly related to the well-being of tens of millions of people,and related to achieve the goal that build a well-off society in 2020.Most of our country,especially the ecological fragile areas,which faced the problem of poverty and more serious ecological problems.Therefore,our government practiced ecological compensation to the ecologically fragile areas,in order to achieve the goal of improving the ecological environment.The Shiyang River Basin is the gateway to the Hexi Corridor,which is one of the most densely populated areas in China's inland river basin,with the highest water resources exploitation and water use,and the most serious ecological problems.The problem of poverty among farmers in the Shiyang River Basin caused by environmental degradation is highlighted.Ecological compensation has a very important role for farmers to alleviate poverty by means of economic means.It plays an important role in ensuring the sustainable development of Shiyang River Basin,promoting the transformation of farmers and guiding the practice of theory.This paper summarizes the research progress of ecological compensation and poverty alleviation in Shiyang River Basin,analyzes the relationship between environment and poverty in Shiyang River Basin.This paper also analyzes the influence of ecological compensation practice on reduce the prevalence,depth and severity of poverty of farmers,furthermore this paper discusses the effect of poverty reduction in the main compensation methods such as cash compensation and technical compensation,finally get the following main conclusions:(1)The contribution of the Gini coefficient of the cash compensation to the Gini coefficient of the total income is 2.10%,the proportion of the cash compensation income source in the total income is 9.19%,the marginal effect of the cash compensation on the total income is-0.07,indicating that the increase in the cash compensation will make farmers' income more balanced.(2)By participating in the ecological compensation project,the farmers received cash compensation,the poverty rate decreased by 9 percentage points,the poverty intensity decreased by 0.34,and the poverty depth decreased by 0.18.(3)Through the analysis of statistical software,among the subjective factors influencing the effect of poverty reduction using technology,the two factors of the degree of technical understanding and the effect of technology on income show a strong significance;Among the individual factors influencing the effect of poverty reduction using technology,the two factors of age and education were significant.Finally,according to the conclusions of the relevant policy recommendations such as improving the ecological compensation mechanism of Shiyang River Basin;rational use of a variety of ecological compensation;to develop a reasonable Shiyang River Basin ecological compensation laws;reasonable adjustment of industrial structure;setting ecological workers and other green posts.
