Research On The Development Of Sweet Potato Industry In Lulong County

Lulong county,which enjoys the reputation of "hometown of sweet potato in China",is one of the main producing areas of sweet potato in China.Sweet potato planting has been developed for more than 100 years in Lulong county,which is the leading industry in Lulong county.Sweet potato industry is one of the main driving forces to promote the local economic development of Lulong county,and an important way to help farmers get rid of poverty.However,in recent years,the development of sweet potato industry in Lulong county has been greatly affected.Therefore,it is urgent to solve the problems in the development of sweet potato industrialization in Lulong county.In this paper,By using the methods of literature analysis,induction and deduction and investigation,from the macroscopic angle of Lulong sweet potato industrialization overall development situation and microcosmic angle of farmers plant actual situation,Lulong sweet potato planting scale,varieties,technology,economic benefits and product processing,etc.are analyzed.the main problems at present in Lulong county of sweet potato industrialization development are summarized,for instance,the drive strength of the leading enterprises is weak;varieties planted is single and aging,seed development efforts is understrength;pest harm is serious,effective prevention is difficult;the degree of organization is not high,the level of specialization is low;product quality is not stable,the food safety level is low;the market system is not perfect,the circulation efficiency is poor.some countermeasures and suggestions aiming at the present problems are put forward to promote the development of potato industry in Lulong county,such as increasing the investment of capital and technology;improving the competitiveness of the leading enterprises;cultivating and introducing fine varieties,promoting scientific cultivation;expanding the scale of sweet potato production,optimizing the industrial development pattern;increasing policy subsidies,enhancing the risk resistance ability of the sweet potato;completing the market circulation system,widening the sweetpotato market circulation channels.
