Research On Financial Performance Evaluation Of China Merchants Bank Under "CAMEL"

In recent years,with the continuous advancement of global financial integration,competition between China's banking industry intensified,how to improve the core competitiveness and sustainable development capacity is a major problem.Because financial performance is an important measure to measure the operating effect of commercial banks,the research on the financial performance of commercial banks can find some problems and risks in the management and management,so as to help commercial banks to improve the management and management,prevent financial risks and improve the sustainable development ability.First,the article chooses China Merchants Bank as the case study object through the analysis of the basic situation of China Merchants Bank and it's status of financial performance evaluation found that if only the relevant laws and regulations and financial indicators of the financial performance of China Merchants Bank evaluation,there is a clear strong limitations;Then,according to the current development characteristics of China Merchants Bank,a set of financial performance evaluation index of China Merchants Bank,which is guided by the theory of "CAMEL" rating system;Finally,based on the selected financial performance evaluation index of China Merchants Bank,the paper analyzes and evaluates the financial performance of China Merchants Bank by using trend analysis method(vertical contrast)and factor analysis(horizontalcomparison).This article found that China Merchants Bank in the liquidity and intermediary business ability has a strong advantage but in the safety,profitability,capital adequacy has yet to be improved,and for the above issues raised how to improve the ability to resist risks,enhance capital adequacy,Ability of the three aspects of the relevant recommendations,Hoping to provide strategic reference for China Merchants Bank's strategic transformation and sustainable development.
