Rural commercial banks of China have played all important role in the financial support of promoting rapid development of the local economy.The local government have been working to promote the development of rural commercial banks.From the quantitative point of view,The numbers of China's rural commercial banks have rose to 384 as of early 2016,and some rural commercial banks are being planned.From the quality point of view,China's rural commercial banks such as the average non-performing loan ratio,the average profitability,solvency and other economic indicators have performing well,and performance of China's rural commercial banks continues to increase in recent years.However the fierce market competition makes the development of rural commercial banks to client manager of business management.The client manager play a role in both strategic decisions related to the implementation of the company results and related to the main business development and maintenance.The knowledge,skills,qualities,abilities and other factors of the client manager have been qualified for not giving enough attention.So as to weaken their baisic role and become difficult to successfully achieve business performance goals.Therefore,it is necessary to study on competency model of the client manager.It has rarely been seen the empirical research that China rural commercial banks competency model of the client manager.In theory,this research should provide a theoretical basis to achieve high performance from the perspective of client manager competency and make up for inadequate results in human resources management theory of the management of rural commercial banks.From a practical sense,the mining rural commercial client manager competency model system and its impact on the performance,it can deepen the reform of human resources management and play a guiding role on providing a new perspective,ideas and methods for further enhancing the operating performance and achieve strategic goals of rural commercial banks.The paper first outlines the theory of competence and the competence model,particularly related theory of rural commercial banks and client manager competence model,defines the research object of thesis.Draw on the existing competence,use behavior event interviw and expert group discussion,try to set up client manager's initial competency model,including a total of 23 competency.Based qualitative ananlysis,formaed rural commercial banks of client manager competence.Through the issuance and recycling of questionnaire,using compent analysis,using SPSS software as the main tinsrument,reduced 23 pretest competence to 16,ultimately determine the rural commercial banks of the client manager competence model.Obtained a first level with four facters,including basic ompetence,Post professional skills or quality,personal traits,success oriented,obtained corresponding 16 secondary competence factors.According to the competence factor scores detemied competence weights of each factor.Competency model can be used as the basic data of customers management in rural commerical bankes,and guide the whole process of human resource management.Finally,from the recruitment and selection,traning and development,compensation strategy and performance evaluation,discussed the function of structure model of competence in the management of human resources of rural commercial banks.
