China nowadays stands as the biggest economy in the world overlapping the likes of Korea and Japan.China has successfully expanded their business to all over the country across the globe even to the western part.Many of Chinese goods which in the past considered as unworthy or cheap replacement for cheaper price,now start to gain fame due to the fact that the China manage to improve the quality without having to increase the price that much.One of those famous products of China is electronic such as cell phone,air conditioner,television,etc.China recently announcing one road one belt policy which will involves the countries in South East Asia and without exception,Indonesia,the biggest economy in the region nowadays.Lots and lots Chinese company try to breach Indonesian market.It is easy nowadays to spot the market specialized in selling Chinese goods.Banner of Chinese companies could be seen in the shopping malls in Indonesia.Other thing for sure,those Chinese companies also open their business in Indonesia with whatever reason and it is not quite normal for them to hire local Indonesian as the employee.There are a lot of whispers amongst Indonesia stating that working under Chinese supervisor is similar with working with boss from "hell" Salary wise,Indonesian are quite satisfied with the number offered to them by any Chinese company yet the problem most Indonesian talk about are mostly about how "silly" the boss of them react to any situation in the office.Main aim of this study is to figure how leadership application which is represented by the power distance dimension could affect Indonesian employee satisfaction.Other factor which is generally known to give direct involve will also be included such as salary level,relationship with coworker and even scoop of work will be used as the comparing variable in this study.Research will be conducted in one of the biggest Chinese-based company with the most rapid growth in Indonesia which is Huawei.Researcher would like to analyze whether these famous "whispers" growing amongst Indonesia is generally applicable for every Chinese company.The methodology is based on the previous case studies regarding employee satisfaction level which is getting more and more important due to the beliefs of satisfied employee will provide more productivity for the company.Data collected will be retrieved from the survey conducted in the Huawei Indonesia with specific participant of Indonesian employee only with sole purpose to understand how application of power distance could affect Indonesian employee satisfaction level toward their jobMain purpose of this thesis is to provide some sort of guidebook or just to understand what a foreign company should do to achieve maximum job satisfaction in order to extract maximum efficiency.
