Indonesian Small and Medium-sized Enterprises are important force to promote the development of national economy. With the development of economic globalization and integration, and the Internet economy, the competition between modern enterprises more and more fierce, the essence of enterprise competition is talent competition. Attracting talent, retain talent, improve the work efficiency is the key to enterprise development. How to attract and retain talent, improve the work efficiency, the key is to have a set of employee satisfaction in the salary management system to motivate employees. Now Indonesia has many problems in the compensation management system of small and medium-sized enterprises, result in employee turnover or low productivity, thus affecting the development of the enterprise. Therefore, how to design a reasonable salary system, improve the employees’ pay satisfaction, Indonesia’s small and medium-sized enterprise needs to solve an important problem. This article is mainly on the related issues of the Indonesian Small and Medium-sized Enterprises pay satisfaction investigation and study, through the investigation and analysis, find the problems and obstacle to employee compensation satisfaction is not high, and then puts forward the targeted solutions and measures to promote the sustainable development of small and medium-sized enterprises in Indonesia will have important theoretical and practical value.This research is divided into five parts. This paper analyzed the research background and meaning of Indonesian Small and Medium-sized Enterprises pay satisfaction; Second to the domestic and foreign research on small and medium-sized enterprise salary satisfaction and its related theory, to review and summarize the research in the article theory basis; Third of small and medium-sized enterprise salary satisfaction in Indonesia by the questionnaire survey analysis, find out the influence factors of small and medium-sized enterprise employee pay satisfaction is not high in Indonesia. Fourth, according to the result of the investigation, on how to improve the Indonesian employee compensation satisfaction put forward a series of measures, namely, to improve the recognition of compensation management, optimization of small and medium-sized enterprise salary system (job evaluation, salary surveys and performance award, ensure fair should be perfected as well as the application of reasonable salary system), to set up the dynamic compensation standards, establish a scientific incentive system, and enriched the contents of the employee compensation structure, etc., and small and medium-sized enterprises for Indonesia through compensation management puts forward the corresponding Suggestions. Hope that through improve employee compensation satisfaction, Indonesia’s small and medium-sized enterprises to improve competitiveness in the face of the association of south-east Asian nations (ASEAN) free markets.
