A Study On The Relationship Between Tourists’ Personality Traits And River Tracing Experience

Along with Chinese residents’ disposable income and leisure time increases,people are increasingly personalized demand for tourism products,including wading as a kind of exploration projects in the development of Chinese tourism,and the related touring base shows the ascendant trend.Wading is a kind of non-standard tourism products which is the tourist products of individuation requirements.The theoretical research is wading in the bud stage,at the same time the practice is still in the exploratory stage.This study chooses Shennong-Valley and Fushou-Mountain wading of Yan Ling and Ping Jiang in Hunan as survey sites to get the collection of basic data,and do the following analysis: The use of EXCEL2003 makes a descriptive analysis on the basic situation of the sample;Build order two factor model of personality traits of tourists by using AMOS software,proved to be effective of the seven dimensions of personality;Through exploratory factor analysis to get four wading swim after the satisfaction degree of common factor(enjoy nature,physical and mental relaxation and emotional communication,motor skills,challenge themselves)with three wading swim before the expected degree of common factor(relaxing and enjoy the environment,thrill-seeking);Using the SPSS17.0 to analysis the relationship between the tourists personality traits and wading experience.And there are the results: first,the Chinese personality inventory accurately reflect wading tourists personality traits;The 2th,tourists four personality dimensions(talents,style,interpersonal relationship,extraversion)and wading before the expected degree was significantly positively related;The 3th,the two personality dimensions of tourists(talents,attitude)and after wading satisfaction has significant positive correlation;The 4th,five personality dimensions for wading swim before the expected degree of influence are follows: extraversion > style >relationship > attitude> talents in dealing with the interpersonal relationship ability factor;The 5th,seven personality dimensions for river tracing satisfaction before the expected degree of influence are follows: talents> style> extraversion> emotional> attitude> relationship> good virtuous.
