Performance management is a very important module in the six modules of human resource management,and Performance appraisal is an important link in performancemanagement.Theimplementation and application of performance appraisal is very critical during human resource management work in enterprises,meanwhile,performance appraisal is a difficult problemin the enterprise management.Thus,that how to evaluate the organization and employees' job performance effectively is very important,especially in the manufacturing enterprises where performance appraisaleven faces more challenges.Taking company B as an example,it's a high-tech manufacturing company focusing on production of GRC facade materials.The production department of company implemented KPI appraisal.With the rapid development,B Company gets lots of orders and enjoys a higher market share but suffers a high production cost,lower productivity and poor quality,resulting in customer dissatisfaction,delayed delivery,abundant defective products and returned products,therefore,the competence is weakened,it restrict the developing of new market and maintenance of existing market,also,bring about the profit of company is droping continuously.For the phenomenon and problems in the production department,The managers realized that the KPI performance appraisal method can no longer meet the current actual situation and characteristics of the development of enterprises,it's necessary be optimized and improved,andeven the company have to make great changes from the operating mechanism and management methods,otherwise,whatever performance appraisal methods are very difficult to promote the department and staffs' performance,and the phenomenon of wrangling,making excuses between production department can hardly be eliminated.Amoeba business model,refers to that the company is divided into many small organizations known as Amoeba,a small group of each as an independent profit center,independent operating in accordance with a small business or small shop.The implementation of Amoeba's business model not only puts forward a lot of new demands on the innovation of the organization's performance appraisal system,but also plays an important role in the evaluation of organizational performance appraisal.In this paper,the production department of B companyis taken as the research object,through the investigation and understanding of the actual situation during the application of performance appraisal methods,and finding out the existing problems,and in-depth study of the real reasons of the problems.B company carry out Amoeba business modelin the production departments,at the same time a set of matching performance appraisal system is required to be established,which not only can play a powerful dynamic Amoeba operating,improving organizational performance,but also can make the B company performance appraisal ideas and methods keeping pace with the times constantly.In this paper,during large surveys and interviews,through research and analysis of the key elements in implementing Amoeba management and key process,and analysis of the the advantages and disadvantages of performance assessment methods which are commonly used in enterprises,according to the characteristics of Amoeba's business,The performance appraisal optimization scheme of B company's production department have been worked out while the Amoeba operated simultaneously in the production the Department.After taking the method for half a year,an objective evaluation has been taken with the production department and staff performance.through the performance feedback and improvement,combined with the implementation of Amoeba management,the method help B company production department improve organizational performance continuously,which is not only beneficial to improve the whole management level of B company,but also it can help other similar enterprises to developand optimizethe performance appraisal as a reference.
