The new generation group was born during the transition period of Chinese social and economic system,and has grown up since the reform and opening up policy was issued.The changes in the times and the environment making the new generation have some different characteristics comparing with the former employees,more independent,sensitive and fragile,better innovation ability,meanwhile,strong achievement motivation,dislike being too observant of conventional standards,ignoring authority and higher turnover rate.SF company is still a relatively traditional state-owned enterprise,it continues to use the proceeding traditional method which is incompatible fit the character of the new generation,so the staff's working enthusiasm is not high,they feel a lot of frustration and even feel hopeless for their future.Therefore,the company need to combine the characteristics of the new generation and conduct the design of effective management strategies.Firstly this thesis clarifies the background and meaning of researching the new generation of employees,and combine with the research at home and abroad to make the definition the concept of the new generation,through the study of literature,we can find that the new generation is a group of strong independence,multiple values,loving challenges,strong learning ability and strong achievement motivation,they have their independent views about the work that the meaning of the work lies on not only obtaining the economic income,but also hoping to make use of their strengths in the work and realize the value.Meanwhile,this thesis studies the definition and related research of motivation which supply theoretical basis for the design of incentive scheme.Then,taking SF company as an example,firstly this thesis clarifies the preset situation of the company and the new generation staff,and then it elaborates the problems in the incentive measures of the new generation of employees through the methods of questionnaire survey and interview.In view of these problems,combined with the theory and practice,this thesis puts forward incentive measures for the company's new generation of staff.This thesis analyzes the shortcomings of the incentive measures from the four aspects of the salary system,the welfare guarantee,the training and the career planning respectively.In the salary aspect,a reasonable wage system and pay by post and pay by ability principle should be set.In the welfare guarantee aspect,providing incentive form welfare,introducing of a distinctive canteen system,supplying staff accommodation conditions,adding leisure area in the office environment,introducing a variety of staff activities and festival benefits.In the training aspect,providing abundant learning resources and a variety of training styles,using flexible and diverse ways to increase learning opportunities,organizing employees to visit the excellent business from time to time,paying attention to the psychological training of employees.In the career planning aspect,establishing an internal career counseling system to ensure the development of employee career,establishing a harmonious,democracy and harmony relationship between the upper and lower levels,giving a certain range of work authorization,creating a relaxed environment where there is full respect,trust and care,enhancing the sense of belonging for the new generation group.
