One of the fundamental contents in financial management is operation capital management because abundant working capital not only can guarantee the smooth operation of purchase,production and sales in an organization,but also becomes the significant index measuring enterprise short-term debt paying ability as well as business capacity.For this reason,to reinforce the management of enterprise operation capital and enhance business performance are particularly important.Traditional operation capital management puts emphasis on the three elements of cash on hand,inventory and account receivable,so as to discuss about the risk as well as profitability of working capital.It is just the limitation in traditional operation capital management that makes the research idea combining supply chain management theory with operation capital management develop gradually.In recent years,e-business enterprises are flourishing in China.By virtue of low cost,high efficiency,abundant commodity and convenient purchase,e-business has turned into an emerging economic model.That is to say,how e-business enterprises utilize the operation mechanism of e-business and combine this kind of operation mechanism with supply chain management to enhance the operation capital management level is the key point of discussion.By means of qualitative and quantitative method,analytical approach and case study,and based on supply chain theory,this thesis has a comprehensive understanding of the operation mode adopted by LY E-business Company;meanwhile,after elaborating the status of supply chain management as well as operation capital management,it analyzes the turnover ability of working capital from qualitative and quantitative perspectives,and discusses the problems in purchase channel working capital and purchase channel operation capital management.As an emerging enterprise,the company carries multiple problems in operation capital management.Therefore,this paper puts forward the suggestions for enhancing e-business enterprises’ operation capital management;including intensifying utilization and management of supply chain system,emphasizing on selection of suppliers,controlling purchase risk,reducing purchase cost,increasing logistics partners,improving logistics distribution pattern and cultivating customer relationship.It is necessary to overcome the shortcomings in traditional working capital theorybased on supply chain theory.Furthermore,taking e-business enterprises as research object under the trend that e-business enterprises are flourishing plays profound realistic significance,which can provide reference and guidance to the emerging e-business enterprises.
