Research On Jiangxi Ultra High Voltage Development Strategy

As economy and society develops,Jiangxi Province,known for shortage of primary energy,will be exposed to imbalance between supply and demand of energy.To settle it,Jiangxi Province has to tap its potential and bring in external power in particular.The development strategy of ultra high voltage(UHV),therefore,should be identified,and so should the timing and size of power-receiving.Only in this way can it develop secure energy supply and evolve into “Green Jiangxi”.Gathering data on energy development,the paper adopts SWOT and PEST to analyze internal and external environment of UHV development in Jiangxi province,and then demonstrates its current supply and demand of energy and the trend in the future.From the perspective of maximizing energy positives of Jiangxi,the paper explores opportunities and challenges in developing UHV in it,and points out the overall strategy of Jiangxi UHV development.In the end,the paper,on the basis of analyzing technology and price of external power,develops the plan for bringing in UHV for Jiangxi province.The paper consists of seven chapters.Chapter one is introduction to background and significance of the research,and summarizes development status of domestic and overseas ultra high voltage.Chapter two introduces relevant theories about develop strategy.Chapter three analyzes the external environment of UHV development in Jiangxi.It figures out opportunities and challenges in Jiangxi province based on macro environment and status-quo of domestic UHV development analysis.Chapter four analyzes internal condition of UHV development in Jiangxi.Based on resource endowment,power supply development,power grid development,it has described the status-quo of energy supply and demand in Jiangxi,predicted its power load,and came to the conclusion of power market analysis.Chapter five digs at strategic option of UHV development in Jiangxi.It develops the overall strategy in line with timing and size of power-receiving,characteristics of power transmission,landing position electrovalence,and power drop point.Apart from that,it makes out the plan of introducing UHV to Jiangxi on the basis of domestic energy structure and power transmission,technology and price of external power,etc.Chapter six proposes suggestion on implementing UHV development strategy in Jiangxi.Chapter seven is the conclusion.The paper finds that UHV is important for optimizing allocation of energy resources due to the inverse distribution of energy resources and power load in China.Given resource endowment,Jiangxi has relied on coal power for long and its self-sufficiency in energy kept declining.According to balance equation,the power market of Jiangxi will arrive at 6,000 MW in 2020,16,500 MW in 2025,and 30,000 MW in 2030.Considering timing and size of power-receiving,characteristics of power transmission,landing position electrovalence,power drop point,and external power,it's better to bring in UHV from Baihetan hydroelectric station after 2020 at the size of 8,000 MW at most.The paper indicates that in order to develop UHV,leading and planning should be strengthened,foundation be laid for power-receiving,and publicity work be carried out.
