The Study On Green Total Factor Productivity And It's Influencing Factors Of Yangtze River Economic Zone

As the paramount region of China,Yangtze River economic plays an important role of China's economic development.By analysing and measuring the green total factor productivity of the Yangtze River economic belt,it can help us to quantify the development of the Yangtze River Economic belt,which is also helpful to know the economic gap in the different provinces of the Yangtze River Economic belt.On this basis,the causes of the gap are found.According this,the specific level of green total factor productivity is focused in this paper and the influencing factors are studied.The main contents of this paper include the following two aspects: Firstly,based on the DEA-Malmqusit method,the level of total factor productivity and its decomposition in the provinces of the Yangtze River economic belt are calculated.Meanwhile,considered the constraint of energy environment,the differences of the total factor productivity of the total,provincial and regional levels are studied.Secondly,the multiple linear regression model is employed to analyze the main factors that affect the total factor productivity of the Yangtze River Economic belt.The influence of human capital,environmental regulation and other related factors on green total factor productivity are also analysed.The conclusions of this study include the following two aspects:(1)Given the circumstance of energy environment constraint,the green total factor productivity of the Yangtze River economic belt has a rising trend.Technological progress is the fundamental reason.According to geographical location,the Yangtze River economic belt is divided into three regions: East,Middle and West.The analysis results show that the green total factor productivity index in the East is much higher than the other two regions,the second of the west,and the lowest of the the central region.On the provincial level,Shanghai processes the highest total factor productivityby the constraint of energy environment.The level of Hubei,Hunan and Sichuan province are slightly lower.(2)By analysed the factors that affect the total factor productivity of the green belt in the Yangtze River Economic Belt,it indicates that the positive significant factors are human capital,industrial structure,government intervention and energy consumption intensity respectively.The environmental regulation does a significantly negative impact.
