A Study On The Problems Of Helong County Economy

County economy is one type of regional economy with regi onal characteristics including county administrative division a s geographical space,county-level regime as the subject of regulation,market orientation and optimization of resource al location.County economy plays a crucial role in the develop ment of the national economy.It is not only the primary u nits of administrative region in planning the regional econom y and medium-to-long term social development,but also relate d to the process of comprehensively building a moderately pr osperous society and urban-rural integration.This study aims to increase the understanding of the advantages and disadva ntages of the economic development in Helong from county eco nomic perspectives.It further contributes to facilitating the development industries with advantages,optimization of indus trial structure and increasing the economic growth rate.This thesis is based on the theory of regional and indu strial economy as well as combines empirical and normative a nalysis to study the development of the economy in Helong c ounty.Based on the basic situation and resource advantages of Helong,this paper analyzes the current situation of econ omic growth rate,industrial structure,investment in fixed a ssets and foreign trade and economic cooperation.The analysi s finds that in the county economic development of Helong,processing industry,featured agriculture,tourist industry are lagging behind.The level of agricultural industrialization is low and the progress of cross-border economic cooperation is slow.The above problems are caused by the weak founda tion of the industrial development of Helong,a mass exodus,the lack of entrepreneurial talents,the inconvenience of t ransportation,the economic development strategy and policy di slocation of the DPRK.This paper puts forward a number of countermeasures for the development of county economy.First,to develop the p rocessing industry with local characteristics,to cultivate le ading enterprises,to build featured brands and to facilitate further processing of products.Second,to promote the deve lopment of agricultural industrialization,to build special ag ricultural products,to strengthen agricultural production orga nizations,to broaden the channels of agricultural products c irculation and to enhance the degree of commercialization of agricultural products.Third,to develop leisure tourism ind ustry,to increase advertisement,to increase tourism developm ent investment,to optimize the tourist routes,to strengthen the transformation of tourism research into productivity and to train additional talents.Fourth,to strengthen the supp orts of the government,to establish clear development goals,to strengthen policy support and to open up the channels of financial institutions.Fivth,promote cross-border economic cooperation,and gradually promote the development of Helong county economy.
