The paper's research background is BGP,CNPC(object of study)under a harsh external environment which is performing as low international crude oil price,oil industry recession and state-owned enterprise reform.In this paper,through describing BGP's salary management mode and combining relevant theories and practices to analyze the disadvantages and to demonstrate the reasons.After a scientific survey,this paper has provided suggestions and direction of salary management which will help BGP coping with the worldwide fierce market competition,attracting talented person and achieving the enterprise goals.In this paper,firstly review relevant papers and theories of salary management.Then abstract the association between the selected theories and research thesis.In the case description phase,the paper has demonstrated BGP'S organization structure,development strategy,talent strategy,overseas projects' features,salary management mode etc.In the case analysis phase,by issuing questionnaires to employees,this paper has gotten from quantitative to qualitative analysis of salary management problems of BGP by using SPSS software.Combined with overseas' projects features,figuring out that using AHP(analytic hierarchy process)to calculate environment factors' weight of overseas projects salary.In the case discussion phase,this paper has proposed specific detailed reasons and hidden troubles of current salay management.After elaborate the broadbanding concept and its applicable conditions,conducted feasibility analysis of BGP about the risks.Although Broadbanding has the incentive function to BGP's staff who is engaged in overseas projects and can also applicable for current industry status,for management system of BGP is not yet.In the course of this research,case study method,investigation method and literature analysis are widely used.The innovation of this paper includes:(1)Introduced broadbanding as a direcition to improve initiative of employees.(2)Used analytic hierarchy process to assign weight to environment factors of different countries' projects.It achieved success that making work place and compensation management can be matched.
