At the years of economy globalization and science and technology informationization,together with more and more harsh requirement of customers,every enterprise is facing more and more difficult internal and external environment.In order to survive and develop,enterprises must keep adjusting their strategies according to the changing situation.Purchasing is a critical segment in the enterprise operation.It needs to provide the enough high-quality and economic material for the production,sales,project and after-sales links timely.And be assured to check and ratify the materials in plan;make purchasing plan and budget,select suppliers,organize purchasing,arrange reasonable stock;improve the plan accuracy,reduce the occupation of storage fund,speed up the capital turnover and lower down the purchasing cost.The purchasing procedure is formulated according to different management in different companies.A failed procedure will affect the purchasing efficiency and increase the cost of purchasing & transportation.Therefore,the key point that success of business process reengineering is to depend on the method and strategy we will adopt.K Company is one of the largest suppliers of hard carbide industry for cutting tools,its products are widely used in aerospace,automotive,construction,machinery,power generation,transportation,oil and gas exploration,household appliances and other industrial and civil fields.Purchasing department is responsible for hard carbide powder,steel products,hardware and other important raw materials supply.The paper takes company K as an example,using the method of literature,case analysis method,PERT model method,based on the analysis of K company 's purchasing process,analyze the problems and difficulties encountered,resort the company's procurement procedures,improve the procurement process,to enhance the overall efficiency of the procurement activities,thus to improve the environment of enterprise management,and enhance the competitiveness of enterprises.
