As the market economy develops more and more advanced, the competition between enterprises becomes more and more fierce. Therefore, if the enterprise wants to spring out, he shall improve itself comprehensive strength and management quality. Nowadays, human resource has gradually become the key factor for the survival and development of enterprise and performance management and draws higher attention of enterprises than ever before. Being the traditional large-scale chemical enterprise, XH has suffered great impact on the enterprise economic benefits from 2013 due to the market economy environment and is faced with more potential risks and serious challenges. For internal management, it has become one of the most important priorities for XH enterprise to establish a set of scientific performance management system.Based on the study about the domestic performance management theory, in accordance with the present performance management practice, through questionnaire survey and systematic analysis, this thesis comprehensively analyzes the performance management of the front-line employees of XH and finds the existing problems and causes of present performance management. Referring to the conditions of XH, the thesis analysis the working condition, specify the responsibilities of each position, and confirms the assessment standards of different positions of the front-line employee. Meanwhile, the paper redesigns the assessment indicators and percentage, examination cycle, assessment mode, feedback and appeal, and results in use, to ensure the performance management system is more scientific and effective. Moreover, some supporting measures are also proposed in the thesis to ensure the performance management system of front-line employee can be implemented smoothly. The performance management system, designed for the front-line employee of XH enterprise, supplements the whole internal management mechanism, stimulated the potential abilities of the front-line employee to great extent, and promotes the efficiency and performance management level, which has made a solid foundation for the strategic transferring of HX enterprise.Through the analysis and design of the performance management system for the front-line employee in XH enterprise, the thesis achievement is no only helpful for XH enterprise to promote the efficiency and performance of itself, but also can be referred by other chemical enterprises to construct the performance management system of their front-line employee.
