Food is the basic condition for human living,therefore,food safety not only influences the economic development of the country,its citizen health and social stability,but also has great impact on the country’s international image.The management of food safety has become a key measurement for people’s living standard,social management level and the country’s national legislation level.In recent years,food safety is becoming a key concern for both the government and the people due to food safety crisis happened.In order to ensure food safety,the government has strengthened the supervision and done lots of work.However,food safety could not only rely on the government control,more work and control methods should be taken by food industry players to ensure their product quality.As the attendance of international market trend is growing,food safety becomes the key basis for the steady and long term development of our companies.Based on the analysis of our food safety crisis reasons and related government management activities,the paper presents a picture of how EU counties and its companies make their control,through better understanding of their methods and former experiences,we could pick up useful tools for us to adopt.The paper also gives some effective ways of control methods which based on current market situation and development stage we could not change,thus to future help food companies to be a better player in both domestic and international market.
