Research On Spatial Dual Structure Of High-tech Zones In Shanghai

High-tech Zone,as an important spatial carrier of industrialization and urbanization,should be a significant growth pole of regional development.However,high-tech zones do not promote the coordinated development of the surrounding areas with its' continuous development.Instead,the flow of various factors has been hampered and the disparity between high-tech zones and its'surrounding areas,which not only hinders high-tech zone from achieving the transformation and upgrading,but also does harm to the overall economic development and the innovative culture construction of the region.This paper,based on the previous researches related to spatial dual structure,analyzes the formation mechanism of spatial dual structure in high-tech zones and makes a comparison between Zizhu Hi-Tech Zone and Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park from the perspective of relation and disparity among the high-tech zones and its' surrounding areas.Besides,this paper compares the different spatial structure characteristics of two high-tech zones so as to meet the need of coordinated development in high-tech zones and its' surrounding areas.This paper is divided into six chapters.The first chapter is introduction,mainly elaborating the background,significances,contents,methods and the frame of this research.The second chapter is literature review,focusing on the relationship between the high-tech zones and its' surrounding areas,the spatial dual structure and some related empirical researches.The mechanism is analyzed in the third chapter.Based on the Agglomeration-Diffusion Theory and the characteristics of high-tech zones' construction,this chapter explores the formation mechanism of the dual structure in those high-tech zones.The forth chapter introduces the design and implementation of the empirical study,and makes a brief introduction to the case,the questionnaire design and the implementation of the survey.The fifth chapter is empirical part of this paper,which compares two typical high-tech zones with its' surrounding areas and analyzes the result on the basis of its' location characteristics.The last chapter is the conclusion and the revelation.The research finds that different management systems have become the key factors to hinder the flow of factors.In the specific case analysis,there exists different spatial dual structure in Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Zone and Zizhu Hi-Tech Zone,which is reflected in its' industrial aggregation,landscape and population structure.As for the similarities,those two high-tech zones both have the dual structure in lower lever of technical cooperation,fewer change in the current system and less communication in emotion.Furthermore,the location of the high-tech zone has impacts on the relationship between the zones and its' surrounding areas.As a result,in order to achieve the sustainable development of the high-tech zones,it's advisable to strengthen its' relationship with the surrounding areas,promote its' deep integration and consolidate the construction of coordinated mechanism from various aspects.
