With the development of world integration and economic globalization, the competition between countries in the world is becoming more and more intense, and the level of high and new technology has become an important symbol of comprehensive national strength.Nowadays, the high-tech industry has become the most dynamic industry in the economic development of all countries. The high-tech enterprises,as the carrier of the high-tech industry, represent the development direction of the future enterprises and drive the world to move forward. The number of corporate headquarters has a significant impact on the competitiveness of a city, region and even the country. The spatial distribution of high-tech enterprise headquarters is not only closely linked with the urban system structure and the innovative resources, but also the degree of agglomeration is related to the position of the city in the financial system and the national overall innovation strategy, and even determines the comprehensive status of city in the whole region and nation. On the basis of combing the relevant research, this paper explores the temporal and spatial distribution of the high-tech enterprises in China.Based on the calculation of geographical concentration index, coefficient of variation and Gini coefficient, this paper analyzes the spatial concentration and regional differences of high-tech enterprises in China.By analyzing the change of the center of gravity, the temporal and spatial variation law is further studied. Finally, the influence factors of spatial distribution are studied by regression analysis. The result proved that:(1)The listed high-tech enterprise headquarters is concentrated in the three major coastal economic zones including the north, east and south, which was clustered distribution trend.in the geographical area of China.(2)The administrative level of the city is closely related to the number of high-tech enterprises headquarters listed in the city.First of all,the state-owned enterprises accounted for a higher proportion in the large-scale high-tech enterprises.Second, the high administrative level of the city has more listed high-tech enterprise headquarters, the numbers of corporate headquarters and operating income accounted for a higher proportion in municipalities and vice provincial capital city. Finally, the provincial capital city is economic innovation and development leader in a province.(3)Listed high-tech enterprises involved in 19 areas,Beijing,Shanghai and Shenzhen are the top three in almost all sectors. The number of headquarters of the top three cities in each industry has a large share Manufacturing accounted for 62.9%of the total number,in the dominant position.(4)There are some differences in the spatial distribution of high-tech enterprises in different sectors.Mainboard high-tech enterprises' distribution are more balanced, and mainly to state-owned enterprises;small plates and the GEM's high-tech enterprises are mainly distributed in economically developed and innovative resource-rich areas.(5)During the study period, the spatial distribution of high-tech enterprises in China was developing towards an uneven trend, showing the three-core resonance pattern dominated by the east.(6)The level of urban economic development, the degree of globalization, the city level, the financial service industry, the information service industry, the science and technology innovation service and the transportation service industry have obvious positive effect on the gathering of the high-tech enterprise headquarters.Under the impetus of the national policy, the spatial distribution of the corporate headquarters has formed the pattern of eastward and central and western China in an all-round way.But later the eastern part of the accumulation by virtue of their own advantages, and the development of the Midwest is clearly insufficient, the gap is showing a growing trend.
