Research On Technological Structure Optimization Of China’s Export Of Trade In Services

With the development of global economy,the focus of world has shifted from manufacturing industry to service industry gradually;the proportion of trade in services has began to replace the important position of trade in goods in international trade.Service industry and service trade have become the central issue of national economic strategy.In China,under the furious international economic situation,developing service trade should become an important strategic platform for transforming the foreign trade forms and as a new engine for industrial upgrading.At present,China’s service trade is showing a rapid development trend,but its international competitiveness is relatively weak,the growth only manifested in the quantity,but the elevation of quality is not match it,trade in services has been a long-term deficit.It can clearly be seen that trade in services is the short board of China’s foreign trade.Therefore,optimizing the export technological level and structural distribution of China’s service trade,is an important focal point to break the bottlenecks of growth and adjust the domestic industrial structure.However,the actual situation of China’s service trade export technological level and structural distribution,is also need to analyze its export situation,through the appearance to find its essence,explore the factors which influencing China’s service trade exports technical structure,and propose some solutions to optimize its export technological structural distribution,and which is exactly the research mentality of this paper.Firstly,based on the results of scholars’theoretical studies,define the exports technological structure and technical complexity of trade in services.Secondly,summarizing the current situation of China’s service trade exports,and using the export technical complexity indicator to analysis the export technological level and structural distribution of China’s service trade.Thirdly,constructing a theoretical model to qualitative analysis the main factors which affecting the exports technological structure of trade in services,and using a cross-country panel to analysis the above influencing factors,then using "gray correlation degree" to sorting the order of influence degree.Fourth,based on the results of the analysis,put forward some suggestions on how to optimize the exports technological structure of China’s service trade.Research results show:1.China’s service trade import and export volume is standing in front of the world,but the proportion of trade in services accounted for its foreign trade remains low,China’s foreign trade structure is still in a relatively low-level stage.2.China’s service trade export structure is irrational.Service trade’s export is still concentrated in the traditional services,while the proportion of emerging services is small,which rely on the capital,technology and knowledge resources.3.China’s service trade export technological structure is still fall behind with the developed countries,even lower than the average of the developing countries.4.Human capital,services trade openness,infrastructure and foreign direct investment have strong role in promoting a country’s services trade exports technical structure.In China,human capital showed the greatest degree associated with service trade exports technical complexity,while foreign direct investment showed a lower degree of association.
