In order to coordinate the new urbanization and new rural construction, rural residents' income must be enhanced firstly. In recent years, Chinese rural residents' property income has increased rapidly; at the same time, it has not yet to give full play to its role of rural residents' income. With the view of the development effect in the future, it can narrow the gap between urban and rural areas, and promote the urban and rural areas' overall development, and promote the new urbanization development of the integration of urban and rural areas. The research on the evolution tendency of the rural residents' income pattern can not only play an important part in the practical significance of balancing the development of urban and rural coordination in Jiangsu, but also can be a reference for bridging the gap between urban and rural and achieve to urban-rural integration. The article selects Jiangsu Province as study area. By combing through the domestic and foreign studies of rural residents' property income, and basing on the perspective of spatio-temporal evolution, putting the contrast of our country's urban and rural income, Jiangsu Province's urban and rural income, rural residents' per capita income and property income status, we will reveal the dynamic trendency of rural residents' property income. The main conclusions are as follows:(1) The corresponding to the pattern of urban-rural income level in Jiangsu Province has increased year by year. The urban residents' income is overall highly corresponding to rural residents' income in Jiangsu. There are more than 10 kinds of spatial correspondence types of these counties, and the corresponding level is increased year by year. The type of “high-high and high correspondence” is distributed in south and north, and these two types formed the reference point of correspondence pattern. Region correspondence types show a spatial characteristic that the “low-low and high correspondence” and “high-high and high correspondence” gradually evolve from south to north. In the next few years, the income correspondence of urban and rural residents' income level will be higher.(2) There are significant differences in spatial and temporal variation of Jiangsu rural residents' income. Firstly, the gap was still large between south, central, and north, and the absolute gap showed an obvious growth trend. Second, judging from the relative gap, it showed a fluctuating growth trend from 2002 to 2014. Thirdly, the highest contribution values of wage income was the South and the highest contribution values of household business income was the North. The higher of the net capita income, the higher of the property income contribution values. Then we got the new classification of the cities based on the contribution values and levels of these incomes.(3) Rural residents' property income showed a spatial agglomeration characteristic. The global correlation analysis showed that, rural residents' income of spatial distribution wasn't a random state, and it presented a spatial clustering of similar values. The partial correlation analysis showed low-low values were generally gathering in Xuzhou, Suqian, Huaian, and Lian Yungang. These cities are really far away from the developed areas. On the contrary, Suzhou, Wuxi and Changzhou showed high-high cluster. The interaction within these cities is relatively higher than these couties in North. The property income level was decreased from South to North, and all regions showed a significant interdependence of each other.(4) The regional difference of rural residents' income in Jiangsu Province was narrowing. We can see from the trend surface: the high values areas of the property income are located in the South, and the low values region is significantly larger than high values region. Both of the North and South property income levels have increased. The high value region moved from southeast to southwest. The high values region became smaller and low values region expanded in 2011. The polarization of rural residents' income increased, and the gap between North and South is relatively enlarged than that of 2000. The boundary of high and low values regions was from east to west. Compare to 2013, the property income's high values regions in South were significantly expanded, and the low values regions became smaller, which showed the weakened polarization effect. Property income level was balanced in South, and the income gap has been narrowed.
