General Secretary Xi Jinping indicate that the new journey must put the joint prosperity in an paramount important place, and actively strive to achieve that goal. And the most difficult and onerous task to achieve common prosperity is to solve the gap between urban and rural. Therefore, the main focus is to shorten the gap between urban and rural, and to promote harmonious development between urban and rural is the fortress we must overcome. This thesis uses the relative indicator of country-town income ratio to analyze the spatial and temporal evolution of urban-rural income gap in 36 prefectural-level cities of Northeast China from 2010 to 2020,and conducts an empirical study on the correlation and contributing elements of the spatial pattern evolution of urban-rural income gap and its spatial and temporal non-stationarity in Northeast China from 2010 to 2020 based on ESTDA-GTWR framework,so as to enrich the existing theoretical studies and provide a scientific basis to shorten the gap between urban and rural, and promoting rural revitalization and joint prosperity in accordance with local conditions. The main conclusions of the study obtained in this thesis are:(1)The income disparity of urban and rural in the three northeastern provinces from2010 to 2020 has been narrowing over time and is located at a low gap level overall. The urban-rural income ratio shows a spatial distribution pattern in the shape of ">".The dominant factors in the formation of the urban-rural income gap in the three provinces are very different.(2)There is a remarkable positive spatial correlation between urban-rural income disparity in the three northeastern provinces in 2010-2020,with a certain stability in its local spatial structure and spatial dependence direction, and the evolution of spatial pattern is integrated. There is transfer inertia in the spatio-temporal evolution of urban-rural income gap in the three northeastern provinces, with obvious path-dependence and spatial locking characteristics.(3)GDP per capita, industrial structure, financial development, government involvement and education expenditure have positive impact on the urban-rural income gap, while urbanization, openness to the outside world and road network density have negative effects on the urban-rural income disparity between them.Industrial structure and road network density are the two most influential factors, while urbanization and GDP per capita are the two least influential factors. The influencing factors have spatial and temporal non-stationarity.The intensity of the influence of road network density increases over time, while the intensity of the influence of the remaining factors decreases.Except for the spatial heterogeneity of the intensity of the road network density effect that increases over time, the rest of the influencing factors show convergent development, and all of them have decreased to different degrees. Finally, based on the above research, this thesis presents homologous policy advicess in five aspects: breaking the urban-rural income gap in a tailor-made way, continuously optimizing and upgrading industrial structure, helping rural transportation development, vigorously developing rural education, and creating a new engine for foreign trade.
