Order Due-date Setting And Controlling Of WHAST Company Based On Critical Chain

With the development and progress of the times and technology, diverse demands of markets and customers are more and more obvious. In order to adapt to these new changes, companies are increasingly turning their original production mode of making to stock to a new production mode of making to order. For those MTO production mode manufacturing companies, scientifically product due-date setting and controlling is necessary. It will meet customers' needs better and improve enterprises' production management level. Still it's a key to ensure a good and rapid development of the company.This thesis aims at the product due-date problems of the making to order enterprises and studied the order due-date setting and controlling from the perspective of critical chain project management(CCPM). Based on the basic ideas of CCPM this thesis systematically analysis the application of the critical chain method in order due-date setting and controlling. In introducing the existing order due-date setting and controlling status of WHAST company this thesis analyze the problems and applies the critical chain method to the order due-date setting and controlling of WHAST company and then puts forwards the order due-date setting and controlling method based on CCPM. Taking a specific order project of the company as an example, I validate the proposed method. Compared with the present methods we can see the rationality and superiority of the critical chain method. Through the appropriate order due-date setting and controlling based on buffers monitoring we can effectively avoid order due-date delay risks lead by all kinds of uncertainty factors and improve the ratio of orders completed on schedule.
