A Research On The Relationship Between The Green Supply Chain Manage Ment Practice And Business Performance In Manufacturing Enterprises-Moderator Role Of Resource Commitments

While the rapid development of the manufacturing industry brought us a lot of material wealth, it also consumed a lot of natural resources and caused serious environmental pollution. With growing environmental pollution, the government introduced environmental laws and regulations, and public green consumption concept gradually deepened, manufacturing companies had to reflect on their behaviors of production operations, change management model from the traditional supply chain management to a green supply chain management. However, many difficulties of the implementation of green supply chain, resulted in C hinese manufacturing companies d id not implement green supply chain management actively. Therefore, this paper examined the relationship between the green supply chain management practice and the changes of enterprise economic performance, investigated the moderator role of resource commitment on the relationship, pushing forward the green supply chain management research further.In this paper, we put forward the research problems and identify research ideas. Firstly, we defined the main contents of green supply chain management practice includes internal environmental management, outside environmental cooperation; Secondly, we determined the environmental performance and economic performance, and put forward the hypothesis of the relationship between green supply chain management practice and economic performance; Finally, we verified the moderator role of resource commitments on the relationship between green supply chain management practice and environmental performance. For the 245 valid questionnaires collected by the global manufacturing research group(GMRG), we used SPSS20 and AMOS21 statistical software to manipulate the data, and examined the relationship between green supply chain management and performance, and checked the moderator role of resource commitments by multiple linear regression methods. Finally, we analyzed the results.The results of the study show that, the green supply chain management practices have an impact on the environmental performance; The green supply chain management practice improving the environment can promote the enterprise economic performance; Resource commitments have a moderator role on the relationship between green supply chain management practice and environmental performance and economic performance.
