Study On The Relationship Between Resource Commitment To Sustainable Supply Chain Management And Firm Performance

Since the reform and opening up,the household appliance industry has developed rapidly and made great contributions to the national economy,but it has also caused serious resource and environment problems.In addition,with the intensification of market competition,supply chain competition has become the main mode of competition in the home appliance industry.The original supply chain management mode cannot support the needs of long-term development of enterprises,and the reform of new management mode is imminent.Sustainable supply chain takes the environment and resources into consideration,balances the three aspects of "society","environment" and "economy" at the same time and Implement the concept of sustainable development.Which is an effective way to solve the problems of environment and resources.Reverse logistics is a key part of sustainable supply chain,which can help enterprises balance economic benefits and environmental benefits by quickly solving the problem of returning and exchanging goods and properly disposing of waste goods.However,the current sustainable supply chain in household appliance industry is still in its initial stage,and its operation is not mature enough.How to give full play to the role of sustainable supply chain in performance achievements still needs to be further explored.In this paper,the household appliance industry in Jiangsu Province is taken as the research object.Firstly,we analyzed the background and research significance of the topic and explained the purpose and content according to the environmental resource problems and the competition situation of the household appliance industry.On the basis of consulting a large number of relevant articles at home and abroad,the concepts and research status of sustainable supply chain,reverse logistics,resource commitment,resource-based theory(RBV)and SCP paradigm are summarized.It is concluded that resource is the key factor for enterprises to enhance their core competitiveness,sustainable supply chain can help enterprises to achieve long-term development,and reverse logistics is the main way to improve the sustainability of supply chain.Therefore,when analyzing the impact of resources acting on sustainable supply chain management on enterprise performance,the role of reverse logistics should be considered.Based on the results of literature review and theoretical analysis,the research hypothesis is put forward: the resource commitment to sustainable supply chain management is positively correlated with enterprise performance(operational performance and environmental performance);Resource commitment to sustainable supply chain management is positively correlated with reverse logistics capability;Reverse logistics capability is positively correlated with enterprise performance(operational performance and environmental performance);Reverse logistics capability plays a mediating role in the influence of resource commitment on firm performance(operational performance and environmental performance).According to the research hypothesis,the relationship model of resource commitment to sustainable supply chain management,reverse logistics capability and enterprise performance is established.Reliability and validity analysis,path coefficient analysis of structural equation and mediating effect test of 276 questionnaire data were carried out by SPSS and Amos.The results show that the resource commitment to sustainable supply chain management can significantly improve enterprise performance;Resource commitment to sustainable supply chain management can significantly improve reverse logistics capability;Reverse logistics capability can significantly improve enterprise performance;Reverse logistics capability plays a partial mediating role in the influence of resource commitment on firm performance.The results confirm the conclusion that structure affects conduct,which than affects performance in the SCP paradigm.Based on the research results,the decision-making suggestions for the development of sustainable supply chain and improvement of performance results in the household appliance industry were provided in this paper.
