Since the reform and opening up, China's economy has experienced more than 30 years of rapid growth, and has reached a critical period of development mode transformation and structural adjustment. As the basic industry of the national economy, the mining industry provides an important energy guarantee for the rapid development of China's economy. At the same time, because the industry is also the environment, resources,security and other social issues prominent industry,it natually becomes the focus of reform.At present, as the main army of the "going out" strategy, the mining enterprises in the international investment cooperation the absence of social responsibility and neglecting stakeholders problems emerge in endlessly, and it has seriously affected the international development of the mining industry enterprise. In view of the above situation, the fulfillment of social responsibility has become an inevitable requirement and realistic choice for mining enterprises to realize their own sustainable development. In this paper,the influence of social responsibility on financial performance of mining industry listed corporation is studied in order to clarify the relationship between social responsibility and financial performance, and to provide theoretical support and decision-making basis for the construction of social responsibility of mining enterprises.This paper chooses mining industry listed companies as the object of study, by reading and combing theoretical literature related to the social responsibility and financial performance, based on the grasp of the mining industry's current situation and characteristics of social responsibility, identify stakeholders of the mining industry social responsibility, and set all the stakeholders' social responsibility index. This paper selects the data of 46 mining listed enterprises from 2010 to 2014, using SPSS17.0 to perform multiple linear regression analysis, and using STATA12.0 to validate the results of regression analysis, comprehensively studys the impact of corporate social responsibility in the mining sector on financial performance, and draws the main conclusions as follows:(1) mining social responsibility overload and deficiency coexists, the overall performance level is low.(2) mining enterprises fulfilling the responsibility of the shareholders, creditors, suppliers,government and community has a positive impact on financial performance. Although performing on the responsibility of customers, employees and environment did not form agood financial performance return in the current period, in the long run, can improve financial performance. According to the above conclusion,this paper puts forward the following suggestions:(1) establish the external environment suitable for social responsibility to implement from the two angles of incentives and constraints;(2)strengthen communication with stakeholders,establish and perfect the management system of social responsibility within the enterprise and speed up the realization of the comprehensive integration of the fulfillment of their social responsibility and the construction of a green mine.
