The Research On The Relationship Between Financial Corporate Social Responsibility And Enterprice Performance

With the rocketing development of economic globalization and emerging corporate social responsibility movement, more and more attention is being taken to issues of corporate social responsibility by us. In China, as we frequently seen in newspapers, there has been a lot of phenomenon that lacking of corporate social responsibility in recent years, these problems covered with food safety, environmental pollution and labor protection. These events have badly affected the public economy healthy develop-ment as well as people’s life and property. In China, financial industry is the core of the modern economic system. This industry can influence the social and economic safety. It plays an important role in Chinese market. That makes a higher demand for financial industries to fulfill their social responsibility.This essay carded the current situation of the development of corporate social responsibility motion, then summarized the domestic and foreign literature research on corporate social responsibility and enterprise performance. Continually, it elaborated the content of financial corporate social responsibility basing on the theory of financial corporate social responsibility. This thesis summarized the current condition of corpora-te social responsibility and pointed out its advantages and disadvantages. After that, I selected 41 financial industry companies which from 2009 to 2013 adds up to 161 samples, then tested the relationship between financial corporate social responsibility and enterprise performance by empirical method. The results shows that the higher social responsibility level leads to higher profit quality and better market performance. The companies with have higher profit quality can ensure them to fulfill their social responsibility. This thesis comes out the conclusi-on that financial enterprise fulfill their social responsibilities have a positive impact on enterprise performance. The well managed financial companies are more likable taking more corporate social responsibility.
