As one of the hottest issue in strategic management field today, the strategic alliance has been paid a high level of attention by both the academia and the business community, ever since the concept was first proposed. Moreover, the relevant theoretical and empirical research has become increasingly widespread, which covered the form, motive, performance as well as other aspects regarding strategic alliance, and achieved numerous research outcomes. It is of significant importance to develop research concerning strategic alliance in order to predict strategic alliances behavior and guide the cooperation among enterprise.Based on the value network for the dynamic mechanism mode of strategic alliance, this paper carried out further analysis and research, which brought up the model of enterpirses’ cognitive influencing factors of the demand for strategic alliances, explored the factors influencing the enterprises’ cognition of the demand for strategic alliance and dug the motives of the strategic alliance.By the end of this paper, the model was tested and verified from six dimensions of the strategic field theory, through an empirical study of the behavior of typical corporate strategic alliances cases in IT industry.Results of this research show that, the enterprises’ cognition of the demand for strategic alliance is influenced by the factors in three aspects, which are business’ strategic significance in the overall business, relevance between the business and other businesses in the company, whether the department of the business is independent or not. Bigger the business’ strategic significance in the overall business is, higher the relevance between the business and other business in the company is, and the department of the business is independent, enterprise will easier cognize the demand for strategic alliances in this business area. |
