Since China implemented reform and opening-up policies, the telecommunications industry in China has undergone a substantial development and the telecommunications industrial chain with communications equipment manufacturers as the leader, device module manufacturers as the support has been formed. On the basis of a steady rise in domestic market sales, the export of Chinese independent research and development of domestic communications equipment incresed quickly, Fiberhome optical communication equipment in the domestic and international market, especially in recent years to maintain high growth.Through the study of Fiberhome optical communication equipment export trade situation and the international competitiveness of export, find out the advantages and disadvantages, strategies to enhance the international competitiveness of, is conducive to the promotion of Fiberhome optical communication equipment export trade status and development.Based on the literature review and case studies, this thesis first analyzes the current situation and the competitiveness of China optical communication equipment export, then discusses the current situation and features of Fiberhome optical communication equipment trade, and by undertaking SWOT analysis points out the advantages, disadvantages, opportunities and risks therein, and finally proposes the strategy of improving the competitiveness of Fiberhomeoptical communication equipment in international market.This thesis argues that Fiberhome optical communication equipment export advantages lie in its low cost as well as many other aspects such as its technology advantage as a late starter, and the positive international market development strategy.While the disadvantages owe to the export international market to meet the customer requirement, the weaknesses in research and development, the lack of coretechnology and the singleness of foreign sales channel, the lagging behind of the construction of post-sales network, and the lack of distinctive automobile culture, etc. The opportunity of expanding the export consists in the support of national policy, the steady growth of the overseas demand, the rapturous welcome to new energy automobiles, and the construction of free-trade zones, ect., whereas the main impediments to its export come from the vicious competition from other domestic auto export enterprises, and the uncertain political environment in target foreign market. Only with government's policy support for self-owned brand as the basis, global product strategy as guidance, and change as a masterstroke, and comprehensive application of the combination of strategies like SO, WO, ST and WT, could Fiberhome Co.Ltd. become invincible in the international market.
