| Infrared thermography system has extensively applied in various kinds of fields,such as military,industrial engineering,and medical treatment.The networking and intellectualization of infrared system can realize the real-time transmission of infrared data in medical detection and industrial line detection.Therefore,the research in this paper mainly focus on the infrared video processing system on the strength of embedded technology.This system is based on a design platform using ARM and FPGA dual chips,of which FPGA is used as the picture processing core unit and ARM is taken as main processing unit.Besides,the subsequent functions including video compression and network transmission can be implemented in ARM subsystem.Infrared video signal is transmitted to FPGA subsystem by infrared detector,then the infrared imagery is processed by nonuniformity correction.Afterwards,the processed data is passed to ADV7180 chip and then convert to a video format compatible with BT.656 standard and communicate with ARM.The infrared video is encoded and compressed by the ARM subsystem,then the package and network transmission of infrared video can accomplished by the RTP protocol.At last,infrared video real-time playback can realized by VLC Media Player on the PC.The tests indicate that the infrared video processing system running stability.The infrared image resolution is 384 × 288,and the frame frequency is 25 frames/s.Furthermore,the infrared radiation distribution function of infrared image is suitable when detecting different heat sources. |
