Design And Implementation Of Web-based University Research Project Evaluation System

In recent years,Harbin University have increased the investment in scientific research projects as the teachers' growing declaration,so that more human resources are required to review scientific research projects under the traditional mode.However,the scarcity of human resources and the backward of management methods led to a longer reviewing period and declining efficiency.In order to improve the efficiency of reviewing the scientific research projects in Harbin University,an information management system has become an urgent issue.Combined with Harbin University's own business characteristics,this paper design and develop a WEB-based reviewing system of scientific research projects with MVC three-tier architecture,open-source framework SSH,MySQL5.0,Tomcat6.0 and etc The system possess a role management module,which provides the appropriate functions to the different roles,such as the teachers can declare the projects online and check their progress.Besides,the experts can review the projects online.The administrators of university and institute can manage the experts,customize review indicators for various types and review the projects.This system has been achieved a expected result after test and running,which provides a convenient platform for teachers to declare scientific research projects.It provides an efficient,stable and equitable reviewing platform for the management sections of research projects in universities,it can greatly increase the efficiency of declaring and reviewing scientific research projects,and improve the information-based degree of university management.
