In recent years, with the increasing proportion of the elderly in society,China will soon usher in an aging society. In the future, the home-based car-ing will be the main way of eldercare. Aging service robots, as an important research direction in the future, can solve the physiological and psychological problems encountered by the elderly at home. As a new research field, service robot needs to reconsider the interactive environment and interaction mode of human and robot in the process of interaction. At the same time, the elderly-oriented interactive design method is not perfect. To address these challenges, this research aims to improve the user experi-ence of the aging service robot. Firstly, there is lack of uniform standard in the requirements of aging service robot because of the imperfect market. Accord-ing to the classification of the elderly' s needs, this paper proposes the frame-work of the requirements in the aging service robot based on two dimensions, which are necessity and frequency. Secondly, comparing to the conventional interface-based interaction design, the interaction design of aging service robot requires to consider voice, action and other methods of interaction. This paper indicates the key points of the interaction design in the aging service robot.Thirdly, as a product of the new technology, aging service robot is likely to be rejected by the elderly. Our research applies the theory of familiarity from psychology to enhance the user experience and the attractiveness of the service robot. The method of questionnaire experiment is used to verify the proposed requirements framework and the familiar design method. From the experimen-tal results, the elderly present a different degree of preference for the differ-ent types of functional requirements, which is in line with the requirements framework hypothesis. In addition, through the comparison of the interaction between the old and the college students on the service robot, it is proved that the familiarity theory plays an important role in the usability improvement to the user in different age groups. This thesis provides some advices of the re-quirements and interaction design in aging service robots, which has a certain research significance and application value for future research and development of aging service robots.
