Application Of Speech Interaction In Service Robot

Under the background of the aged tendency of population,the social issues of old solitary people have become a challenge for our society: the offspring don't accompany old people for a long time resulting in more and more elderly people living alone.There is less communication between elderly people living alone and others,and their lonely life is particularly lonely.This project is aim to this problem.The rise of social robots also provides a fresh mode of mindset to solve the social issues of single elderly people.Owning to low and unclear functional requirements of the solitaries,there are very few social robots designed for the elderly people living alone in the market.Due to the physical and psychological changes of elderly people living alone,the elderly in social life has undergone tremendous changes,the demand survey reports.This study mainly analyzes the social problems of solitaries and their causes through questionnaires and interviews.Through the investigation of user's demand,we can get the three main demands of the social robot for the elderly living alone.Interaction requirements: the main interaction should be voiced;Functional requirements: More practical functions should be defined according to different application scenarios;Price demand: Affordable price's the most concerned aspect for the old people.Theoretical research report,the focus of this study is to start with the artistic design as the starting point,and also the current development of social robot and voice interaction status and trends,to further explore the possibility of voice interaction in the use of social robots for the elderly living alone.Design Process Report,through questionnaires and interviews it has been designed for the elderly living alone,and found the entry point for the latter part of the design.The main achievements are as follows: Firstly,the aesthetic standards of social robot for single elderly are summarized: the model with the characteristics of being portable in size,having some sense of science and technology and rich in human or animal features,and presenting the appearance solution of social robot;Secondly,by researching the application of voice interaction in social robots,this paper proposes a prototype of voiceinteraction for the elderly living alone,and finally implements the voice function hardware architecture of social robot through the local smartphone chip.
