A Study On The Relationship Between 'Offline Familiarity' And 'Volume Of Speech' In Saved Groups Based On Symblolie Interaction Theory

This study is guided by symbolic interaction theory.It conducted a questionnaire survey and participation in the observation about Saved Groups from fun relationship which is a classification of Saved Groups.This paper is trying to provide some reference for the study of Saved Groups and the fun groups.Through the questionnaire survey on the use of Saved Groups and the case study of two micro-groups,the paper preliminary proof of the hypothesis: Offline Familiarity of Saved Groups from fun relationship is related to the Volume of Speech of the group members.At the same time,this paper gives the following explanation from the perspective of symbolic interaction theory.The relevance of the online and offline need to be‘connected' by means of a ‘common reference point 'as a symbol.The group members got the meanings of the ‘common reference point' from the offline activities.And these meanings will be retained in the subsequent online group.The meanings of‘common reference point' can improve the subjective understandings and social expectation of members in Saved Groups.And these meanings will promote the decision-making and the behavior of members.The decision-making and the behavior is ‘to speak'.In addition,this paper draws the following conclusions for discussion:(1)In Saved Groups from fun relationship,Offline Familiarity of Saved Groups from fun relationship is related to the Volume of Speech of the group members;High Offline Familiarity is related to High Volume of Speech.(2)The relationship between Offline Familiarity and Volume of Speech depends on the existence of ‘common reference point'.(3)'Common reference point' comes from interaction rather than indoctrination.(4)To operate the Saved Groups from fun relationship,people can increase the interaction between members of Saved Groups to improve the groups activity.
