A Comparative Study Of The Mutual Quotation Relationship Between Chinese And Foreign Books And Information Journals Based On Content Information

Journal is the product of subject developing to a certain stage,and it plays a very important role in passing information and spreading knowledge.References of researchers are more than half from journals,at the same time,journals are responsible for the latest academic achievements to show and to exchange.Knowledge transfer between journals without citing-cited relationships,journal cross-citation analysis is one of the journal citation analysis,and it can clear the specific knowledge exchange between journals,showing journal's position in the process of coupling,etc.,which provides perspective for journal evaluation and the internal knowledge structure.Existing journal citation methods including Joural Coupling Analysis,Joural Co-citation Analysis,referred to as JCA,Journal Cross-citation Analysis,etc.Journal Coupling can detect discipline knowledge structure and be used in the study of a subject knowledge clustering;Joural Co-citations can reveal the contribution of core periodicals,which divided into research groups and the thematic structure detection based on different levels and different direction;Journal Cross-citation can reflect the knowledge correlation and subjects interactive between journals from two aspects of macroscopic and microscopic.However,these method rarely join journal content which morely analysis bata.So we bring content analysis in Journal Cross-citation,and contrast integrated into the content and not into the content.Finally,compare difference between Chinese and foreign library and information science journals,which can find the knowledge exchange and the role of different journals based on Chinese and foreign library and information science.At present,there has been analysis on the relationship both at home and abroad,which more concentrated in the journal evaluation,journal citation and journal types.This paper focuses on journal cross-citation,social network analysis and content analysis three methods to analyze Chinese and foreign library and information science journals.Based on the abroad 28 kinds of core journals and 18 kinds of domestic core journals in 2014-2015 for data to analysis and to draw knowledge maps.In the end,this paper compares and analysis domestic or foreign journals citation to look for development opportunity for the domestic library and information science journals.First,from a foreign perspective,we use the relevant index of social network analysis to compare difference between 28 kinds informatics journals as well as the coupling of the after joining the journal subject,this paper analyzes the following conclusions:(1)compared withoriginal cross-citation analysis found that the foreign informatics periodicals`s knowledge flow was frequent,and these journals play different roles in the process of knowledge exchange,they are tacit knowledge,knowledge Bridges and absorb the task of library knowledge based on the content link in the exchange of knowledge.(2)J AM INF SOC SCI TEC and MIS QUART is important journals in the field of informatics in foreign countries,and they play a role in knowledge transfer;AM ECON REV plays the role of knowledge Bridges in 28 journals,which provides the conditions for knowledge exchange between informatics journals.Second,using similar methods from the perspective of domestic to get the following conclusions:(1)the domestic 18 kinds of library and information science journals citing-cited closely linked as a whole in network,and knowledge exchange frequently.(2)these journals in the exchange of knowledge are in different position,and assume different roles,among them,Journal of Library Science in China is important influence in the periodicals of library science,and Journal information science and Journal of Intelligence have important influence in the information science journals.This article is divided into six chapters,the first chapter presents the research background and significance and research status at home and abroad to introduce the research methods and point out the innovation of this article.The second chapter expounds theory,and respectively explain relevant indicators of journal cross-citation,social network analysis and measure characteristics of content analysis,lay the foundation for the following empirical study.The third and fourth chapter explan the steps and conclusion of the method based on the empirical research,and in the process of research,to find the the deficiencies in the journal cross-citation analysis,and points out that in the sixth chapter.Through the above three methods and two perspective to study library and information science journals citation network,in the theory can provide a new view for analysis of library and information science journals and methods,in practice can more clearly show the research present situation of the development of library and information science periodicals at home and abroad to provide the reference for periodical evaluation study.
