The main purpose of this study is to use bituminous coal,anthracite coal,and petroleum coke as the raw materials,through the cold forming and hot forming to make the Coal-based reductant with suitable physical and chemical properties and suitable component.To satisfy the high demanding on industrial silicon reductant impurity content,use the Flotation process to reduce the ash content,and use the Magnetic Separation to reduce the iron content.Use orthogonal test to select the best conditions of flotation and magnetic experiment.The ash content,iron content,specific resistivity,fix carbon and the strength properties can reach or close the effect by using the charcoal.The main research contents are:?According to the abundant coal resources in Yunnan and Guizhou provinces,select a different area of coal type to do the flotation and magnetic experiment to remove the ash and iron.The final ash removal rate is 58.31%,the iron removal rate is 73.79%of Yunnan bituminous coal.The final ash removal rate is 51.36%,the iron removal rate is 64.69%of anthracite coal.Final magnetic iron removal rate is 65.17%.Ash content and iron content reached the requirements of industrial silicon reduction agent for impurities?Cold forming and hot forming:Cold formed by organic or inorganic binder for coal and other carbonaceous materials bonded together,according to the national standard for determination of strength.The content of Na2SiO3 in the 6%conditions,the compressive strength of coal briquette made of 6MPa.Hot forming is generated by the high temperature of coking coal with viscosity colloid powder coal adhered together by coal carbonization coking technology.The highest strength appears coke made from bituminous coal was 60%,The tumbler strength and compressive strength are respectively 90.08%and 9.89Mpa.The best forming size is 0.16-0.15mm,the best coking temperature of 800?.The part of cold forming study on the compressive strength of Na2SiO3 as binder in coal molding has not done the deep research.It is just as the comparative experiments.?Test carbon reducing agent resistance at high temperature,establish the model to imitate the conditions in industrial silicon furnace at high temperature to test the specific resistance at high temperature.The reducing agent specific resistance decreased with the temperature increased.As some papers says that the specific resistance decreased with the content of coal volatile matter.Proves that the test method has a certain reference.The paper also to the assessment on Technical and economical and the environment assessment.Conclude the industrialization feasibility of this project.The techniques is simple and direct,low investment,low cost,wide applicability.Using the method can get a high compressive strength of the formed Coke,and the ash content,the carbon content satisfy the industrial silicon production requirements.
