This paper mainly studies the design and application of new vacuum automatic coating equipment.With the rapid development of the chip coating industry,the requirements for coating molding process are also increasing.The equipment is proposed for the drawbacks of the current packaging molding technology.Vacuum coating technology completes the coating of PCBA by the pressure difference.The vacuum coating costs lower than other way due to its functional principle is simple and the production efficiency is higher.The processing parameters of vacuum coating equipment are determined through a large number of tests at present.Not only resulting in a great deal of human and material waste,but also the industrial development of vacuum coating equipment are seriously affected.Therefore,it is significant to design a new type vacuum coating equipment.Based on the work characteristics that the equipment needs to work under vacuum conditions,this paper focused on the following four aspects:(1)Establish the purpose requirements and functions to research the equipment so on and determine the design direction of the equipment;(2)Establish the appropriate radiation heat transfer model and analyze the temperature distribution of the rubber film surface which will provide a theoretical basis for the determination of the actual parameters of the equipment;(3)Design the overall structure of coating equipment including the design of each machined part and selection of mechanical standard parts,as well as the overall performance evaluation;(4)Make the relevant tests to observe the coating effect and analyze the results,and optimize the parameters and processes of the coating machine to improve performance.Due to the complexity of the radiation heat transfer process between planes,it is difficult to solve the problem by using the simple numerical calculation,so obtain better parameter values by combination of finite element software ANSYS.This paper completed the prototype of the laminating equipment.Make some related tests by using the equipment and the product is firmly coated by the rubber film with no damage and bubble.It is shown that the designed packaging equipment meets the design requirements.The device has the advantages of compact structure,convenient operation,high stability and high degree of automation which meets the requirements of modern coating production,with a wide range of applications.
