With the rapid deveolpment of precision machinery,demands of precise three-dimensional shape measurement of minute objects is becoming huge in recent years.The 3-D measurement technology based on microscope for micro-objects is developing rapidly.However,most desktop microscopes are expensive and inconvenient to carry.What's more,the size of the object stage affects the scope of measured object.In order to realize 3-D measurement with portability and overcome some shortages of desktop microscope,shape from Focus is used.A system based on a portable microscope and a CCD camera is exploited.The main research contents of this paper are summarized as follows:In measurement system,in order to correct the irregular small deviation in images taken by portable microscope,this paper makes research on correcting calculation method based on selected feature points and changing images to standard size and place.For rebuilding the 3-D model,optimization model of block in spatial domain is used to fuse images.An method of adaptive block segmentation and boundary optimization is proposed and used to reconstruct depth map and rebulid 3-D model.Meanwhile,the images in high-level of wavelet decomposition are used easily to analysis the border of different clear parts.The advantage of wavelet transform in frequency domain is researched.The high-level image with depth information will be magnified to original location and rebuild 3-D model to overcome the inherent block phenomenon in spatial domain modeling and improve the accuracy.In order to get the value of focus length(multiplying power)automatically,a CCD camera is used to take images of rotary knob and send them to computer.Pattern identification technology is used to get the value in images and we can get different depth information of different clear parts.The software interface was designed and made by C#,which can help us to complete the system.Finally,typical mechanical parts and materials are measured to prove the measurement system is useful under appropriate situations.
