The modular design of the exhibition was developing from the beginning of 20 th century. Through a modular approach so that short-term commercial exhibition can be more convenient installation and removal, and exhibition materials can be reused, which would be reducing exhibition costs. Modular exhibition display methods have good application in Europe where the area has the developed exhibition, while it was not popular in China. The main exhibition in domestic was still use the special booth. The short-term commercial exhibition has a short exhibit period and requires high accuracy of the exhibition content and which also has higher frequency than other exhibition or presentation, so that modular exhibition display methods could be adapted to its features. Using a modular approach and combining with DynaVR-Net distributed virtual reality system; the whole process of short-term commercial exhibition could be modularization which was divided into data collection module, data processing module and data display module. And then these modules were combined through DynaVR-Net virtual reality panorama system into a modular exhibition system platform. The modular platform provides a modular exhibition display method for short-term commercial exhibition, which could be a one-stop design process from data collection to data display, thereby improving the efficiency of equipment exhibition display, promotion display capacity and accuracy. Meet the needs of short-term commercial exhibition, in line with its development.
