Shengjing Times was a Chinese-language newspaper, which had been supported by the Japanese, and was founded in Shenyang. Shengjing Times was founded in October 18,1906, and ended in September 14,1944. Shengjing Times enjoyed a huge circulation in the Northeast and it had been an important tool for the Japanese invasion of public opinion. In March 1934, Henry Pu Yi became China's fake emperor, by whom the country was changed into "Manchurian Empire" thereby. In the same year of April, Shengjing Times set up Education's Weekly which lasted 9 years until July 1942. And it almost went through the whole process of Puppet Manchuria. Education's Weekly reflects the Japanese aggressors'attachment of great importance to the enslavement education upon Manchukuo'second-generation', especially the teenagers and the children. This paper focuses on the analysis of Education's Weekly, including its propaganda details and strategies, trying to make rational evaluation of its historical status by sorting out the original data and relevant background material. The author finds out that the Education's Weekly not only introduces much of the status quo and ideas concerning domestic and foreign education at the time, but also the puppet Manchukuo's education policies, in which, there are lots of enslaved thoughts, including the requirement of women of being "both good wife and mother" as their highest pursuit of life, the propaganda of the theory of "labor education" upon students in order to make them become the puppet Manchukuo's technical workers in the future. Those enslaved thoughts has been continuing to strengthen along with the Japanese invasion of China and the "development" of puppet Manchukuo which occupied more and more space in the newspaper.Speaking of the propaganda strategies, firstly, it promotes its ideas by publishing celebrities' and grassroot authors' articles. Secondly, it issues tendentious reports frequently, not only regularly publishing articles about visiting Japan, putting on Japanese pictures to deepen people's admiration for Japan, but adding subjective comments on news reports. Finally, it delivers hidden information by arranging the newspaper layout on purpose. The author believes that the Education's Weekly was a tool for Japanese enslavement education upon people of northeast China. Although it spread certain western education thoughts, they did not go beyond the framework of Puppet Manchuria's ideological education. Finally, it is a valuable historical asset which reflects the evil consequences of enslaved education and the dark social reality of puppet Manchukuo's education circle objectively.
