This thesis studies news reports of Oroqen nationality during puppet Manchuria period. Shengjing Times is exemplified emphatically, and is supplemented by New Manchuria magazine and some books on Oroqen nationality published by puppet Manchuria ruling institution during puppet Manchuria period. Based on relative news reports of Oroqen nationality, main characteristics of national minority's news reports during puppet Manchuria period are analyzed, which reflects national policy implemented by Japanese during puppet Manchuria period, how they penetrated the national policy into their news reports and what intention was disseminated.Northeast media'reports and works concerned with Oroqen nationality during puppet Manchuria period are overviewed in the first chapter. What is founded is that the gross population of Oroqen nationality was less than 3,000 people during puppet Manchuria period, but puppet Manchuria ruling class paid much attention to publications of newspapers, magazines and books and didn't conceal its purposes. At that time, news reports of Oroqen nationality on newspapers, magazines and so on was on behalf of the Japanese imperialist's class standpoint, and was not completely real historical situations. Therefore, the systematical study of it has certain practical significance. Such material has extremely high value from the angle of folk custom and humanistic style. However, it served the ruling class with class character, so it should be analyzed dialectically.The influence conducted by news disseminating environment on national reports during puppet Manchuria period is analyzed in the second chapter. Newspapers and magazines are full of striking class nature the first time they appear. News propaganda was strictly controlled by Japanese during puppet Manchuria period, so newspapers and magazines in the northeast subjugate area were almost under Japanese control and were the main propaganda for Japanese imperialist in northeast area. Political disseminating environment has an active effect on national news reports and decides the main content and topic setting of news reports. The influence of political discourse background on national news'dissemination during puppet Manchuria period is mainly analyzed in this chapter.Chapter three is the focus of this thesis. This chapter mainly analyzes the news reports of Oroqen nationality during puppet Manchuria period to reveal the main contents of national reports at that time. Reports are classified into four types in this chapter, which are military reports, national harmony reports, hunting economy reports and handicrafts reports. Such factors concerned with national reports of Oroqen nationality during puppet Manchuria period as report characteristics, reports'main contents, change of report manners and ways and the main reasons of reports'characteristics are drawn through the analysis of report contents.In chapter four, report contents and historical records are compared to draw the conclusion. Whether are real historical records consistent with historical records in reports? What is reflected behind news reports? How do the series of reports occur? The answers to them are dealt with in this thesis.Conclusion is arrived in the final part. The thesis'research significance is focused on and its research gist is revealed in conclusion part. In this thesis, early news media'reports of Oroqen nationality are sorted out and important cases about national policy's influence on national reports during puppet Manchuria period are also analyzed. In this thesis, the Reports of folk customs are also precious historic record and anthropological material.
