From "Cultural School" To "Organizational Mouthpiece": A Study Of Yan Daiying's News Thoughts

Yun Daiying, the early leader of the Communist youth movement, founded a dozen of newspapers in his short life, which influenced a generation of young people to embark on the road of Marxism. From participating in editing enlightenment newspaper to the chief editor of "China Youth" and to the chief editor of "Red Flag" as one of the leaders of Chinese Communist Party, Yun Daiying engaged in lots of news events and germinated affluent news thoughts.In recent years, some scholars have made a comprehensive analysis and summary of the context of Yun Daiying's news thoughts, but there still left room for exploration in the development of Yun Daiying's news ideas. Therefore, based on the analysis of raw materials and relevant background information, this article tries to take the development of Yun Daiying's news thoughts as its research priorities, and analyzes of the main features of Yun Daiying's news events, then clarifies its development and evolution, which in order to achieve its news ideology multi-angle perspective.The author undertakes a systematic order of Yun Daiying's news events on the first place. From the purpose of the press nature, cognitive function and news standpoint of principle, the article sums up the main content of Yun Daiying's news thoughts, and based on its different characteristics, the development of Yun Daiying's news thoughts is roughly divided into four stages. According to the existing articles, the author summarized, Yun Daiying recognized its purely cultural property at first, then he found its afloat nature, at last, he got a comprehensive understanding of press's political attributes and class attributes. In respect of the purpose and function of the press, Yun Daiying wanted to spread the new culture and new ideas by editing newspapers on the early days. As time went by, he gave full play to its publicity guidance and organizational functions, taking the newspaper as a tool of party's "eyes and ears ". Considering the principle of the news, Yun Daiying, from the initial, focused on the readability of newspapers, then he turned to the principles of authenticity, proximity and party spirit.Finally, this paper summarizes the development context of Yun Daiying's news thoughts. Meanwhile, it explains the Yun Daiying's news ideological role and position in the history of China's press and thought, giving a dialectical view of its news ideological inspiration for innovation and transformation of journalism.
